Maddat R200 CV shafts turned up today...Finally! They look pretty well made, although they did cost an arm and a leg for the pair! An easy option for the rear end I thought. I will have to see how the custom outer adaptor flanges go, as they bolt up to the standard 1600 stubs...currently the weakest link in the rear end setup I've gone for. Matt from Maddat assured me none have broken so far, fingers crossed!

Ok, have had a bit more progress on the build. I had Lynton from 'Brakeman pty ltd' come around and install all new solid lines with my Wilwood bias valve. He also helped me bleed the brakes, so now I have a solid pedal...at least now it stops :-) I also got the Maddat R200 CV's in, easy install. I've also trial fitted the Datsport Int and Rad kit...happy days!

Datsport intercooler with cast elbows...Anyone have a spare front stone tray they want to sell? Existing intercooler plumbing holes from previous owner :-(

Awesome job by Lynton the Brakeman

Lynton is the man, he is my first choice when it comes to brakes.
He has been doing it a fair while to, I used him about 10 years ago and never looked back.

Quinnn, those CV kits look good, the thing I dont understand is why they dont use a dog engagement on the adpator so drive is not being delivered through the bolts the likely sheer point? so easy to recess the adaptor for the stubb to drive off..

If you break them, I have a guy who can make u a much better adaptor. Oh and stubb axles when they break as well :) though DR30 a half measure if u not launching hard.

Awesome work so far congrats.

Good comment, and thanks for the hook-up mad510!
I'm pretty sure I'll break the adaptor flange bolts, along with my stubs AND dissintergrate my SR box with what is going under the hood...

Stay tuned, I'll post up a sneak peak of the trial fittment of the engine in the next few days, gotta make sure all the stuff hanging off each side of the SR will fit :)

Ok, finally got a trial fitment of the SR into the mighty Datto. The photos will do most of the talking, but running EFI Hardware quad throttle bodies, top mount full-frame T3 GT3071 with a split pulse/divided .78 A/R rear and a 50mm gate. I had to get a trial fitment of the engine done to get measurements for the custom Hypertune intake manifold...also needed to see if it all would fit! Unfortunately the front of my fuel rail hits on the support rail under the bonnet, so I will have to move the supprot rail and/or get a minor 'power bulge' ala 370z

Enjoy...I know I did :-)
